Baby Brother 1950
I wouldn't know what it's like to have a little brother (thank God) but I do know what it's like for my mom to have one. My Uncle Danny is my mom’s youngest brother, is two years older than my sister and is a keeper. He's really more like my mom and dads trial run child before having their own. He must have been a good kid considering they ended up having five. My mom and dad know that he's just a phone call away if they need anything and when it come to pitching in he's the first one in line. Thanks for all you do Uncle Dan and I know Gramma D's smiling with pride.

Meet Lucy
or as we like to call her Bun Bun. I adopted her about two weeks ago from Watsonville SPCA. She's a two year old dwarf mix and she can be quite feisty at times. If she doesn't want you to pick her up she'll lung at you and then try and bite you, doesn't like other rabbits and was returned to the SPCA twice. Ya that's right she's a rebel. One more thing our dog Bo who is a French Mastiff is very afraid of her but he's afraid of everything so that's really not saying too much.

Isn't She Purtty?
Meet my new BFF and side kick in the camera world. This is the Rebel T1i not to be confused with the Rebel T2i which is priced at about $250.00 more. Since I just shoot (that's photographer lingo for taking pictures) for fun and to keep up with this PAD I wasn't will to spending the extra money. This baby has enough bells and whistles to keep me learning for quite some time........Stay tune because the proof is in the picture!

Time
When I look back on pictures like this one I realize now how time does not care how fast it goes. When you live in the moment you don't realize that the day you're living right now will be gone tomorrow. If I could turn back time I would kiss them, hug them and listen to them so much more than I did. That's the thing about time it never gives you a second chance.

You Are Your Mothers Daughter
Okay so you're probably wondering what the heck is going on in this lovely picture of Meghan. First I have to tell you, Meghan is the only person I know who can laugh her ass off at herself. This picture was taken in 2005 on a girl’s weekend in Colorado where Dede lived at the time. I asked Meghan to jump out of the car and act like she was holding up the rock behind her. As I was trying to take the picture a line of cars started to form behind us so this is the only shot I got. Oh well it was funny none the less. Thanks Meghan you're always so much fun no matter where we are or what we do…..You are your mothers daughter!!!

To Be Four Again
As I sit here typing this I wonder what it would be like to be four again. Childhood only happens once but being an adult is for the rest of your life and to tell you the truth it sometime really sucks. I wish I could go back to being four for JUST ONE day when my grandmas lap could hold me, my dads shoulders could carry me, my moms hugs could comfort me (which they still do) and my sisters encouragement would sustain me (which it still does). When your only care would be playing in the sand, riding your bike and wondering how many more day until you turn five…..Just for one day!

Nineteen Sixty Something
This is Glenn and his brother David way back in the day. Every time I see this picture it makes me smile. It reminds me of the movie The Sandlot (one of my favorites) because of the clothes, shoes and of course the unzipped pants although I don’t know what to say about those hats! It also takes me back to my own childhood when all you wanted to do was play outside. I think that’s the reason kids of that era were so much healthier although these two look like they need to gain a few….I’m just sayin’!

Hanging with Great Grandpa!
Last week when my dad and I were on vacation we stopped by my niece Erin’s house in Huntsville AL to spend some quality time with her and her family. While we were there my dad decided it was time my two year old nephew Ephriam learned how to save a buck. Instead of telling him a story about the one that got away he tries to explain how to shop the grocery store ad to save a buck. THAT is the only explanation I can come up with for these pictures. But really Ephriam was just happy hanging out with his great grandpa and didn’t really seem to care what they were reading as you can see by the last picture!....He's a smart kid and knows a great thing when he see it!

In the Red Kitchen
you will find bowls and cup and pitchers oh my, vases, canisters and...... oh who am I kidding I can’t name everything in this kitchen! What really matters are the people, the laughter, and good o'l cup of Joe. I love hanging out here there's something new used every time I visit. Oh and by the way this is my sisters kitchen and 99% of everything you see except her came from a thrift store. The woman has turned thrifting into an art form as you can see.
