For the Derby Girl

I found this really cool roller skate today while out shopping with my BFF's and I had to have it....no not for me silly for Noah girlfriend Jess. She is after all a derby girl.

Just incase you don't know this is my nephew Jacob (my brother Mark’s son) and Meghan (my sister Terry’s daughter) This picture was taken in 2004 at my 41st birthday party. Jake is now married and in the Navy and Meghan is married and has a daughter named Charlotte whom has graced the likes of this blog on more than one occasion.

Saying good riddance to 2010 is an understatement....

Just ask my Uncle Dan and his girlfriend Lori. They were both in different hospitals at the same time. Talk about bad luck....But it's all good now!!!

FYI he fell off a very, very tall ladder and landed on pavement...LUCKY is what the Dr. called him!

As I listened and watched grandfather and grandson it amazed me how strong a family gene can really be.
