On Thursday my niece Charlotte aka Doodle Bug will be four. It seems like only yesterday that we were all at the hospital awaiting her grand entrance. As you can see she didn't disappoint. Now almost four years later I can't image what life would be like without her cute little smile, her big ol’ blue eyes, and her smarty pantsness!

Happy Birthday "Sister Margie Baby"
Today Margaret celebrated her 40th birthday doing one of her favorite things with some of her favorite people (or at least I hope they're her favorite people!). It's just too bad the Giants got their butts kicked. I can't speak for everyone at the game but I'll forgive them as long as they kick butt on the much hated Dodgers tomorrow. Happy Birthday Sister Margie Baby hope you had a great day and thanks for inviting us. Sorry we left early but Glenn can't change the channel when we're actually at the game!

Turning 40
Today is my sister-in-law Margaret’s 40th birthday and it just wouldn’t be complete without a few photos from back in the day. Happy Birthday Margaret I couldn’t have asked for a better little sister-in-law.

Turning 21
Today Noah turned 21 and I don't have much to say about it other than "Happy Birthday Noah" and "Oh crap he can buy booze". I seemed to have done all my crying when he turned 17 and I don't know why but you can read about it here.

Love it!
This picture speaks for itself!
These two little Rugrats are the off spring of my niece Erin (ya that was her dancing on the bar in the last post) and her husband Brent. I can't any take credit for them nor this picture.

And they were dancing....
dancing on the bar! These two Solid Gold Dancer wanta be's are my nieces Meghan and Erin. As you can see they know how to bust a move or at least they think they do. They've been dancing on this bar since they could walk and now their children are showing them how it’s done but I’ll save that picture for another day.

Graduation Party 2010
Last Friday Glenn, Aaron, Shannon (Aaron's girlfriend) and I headed over to Jessica's (Noah's girlfriend) house to attend her graduation party. Her graduation gift from her parents is hanging around her neck. Yep she's a keeper alright and a girl after my own heart. Oh and I almost forgot she's a scrapbooker AND she loves Noah!

Yesterday
BEFORE
AFTER
Aaron had surgery on the scaphoid bone in his right wrist yesterday (good thing he's a lefty). The Dr. had to take out all the dead bone and replace it with new bone then put a pin in it to hold it in place. The new bone came from Aaron's very bony right hip. We didn't realize until we got to the surgery center that was the new plan. We thought the Dr. was getting the new bone from Aaron's right arm. He's having a hard time walking but as I told him it'll get easier as time goes by. At least he won't be ridding that damn skateboard for awhile :-)

ALS Awareness Month is Every Month
In October 2009 Team Razo Dazo along with many other teams walked to raise awareness and money to help victims of ALS. The ALS perpetrator does not discriminate against race or gender and it does not care who you are. It can sneak up on anyone, anytime, anywhere. I've seen what it’s capable of doing to my family, friends and self and it scares the crap out of me.......
NO ONE IS SAFE WITHOUT A CURE!
Please consider walking because YOU CAN!
This years ALS walk is Sunday Sept 19, 2010 for more information please click here:Sunday, June 13, 2010
SUCCESS!
Yesterday my Uncle Danny, Cousin Mike, Brother Mark, nephew Adrian, nieces Meghan and Charlotte, my parents and the Grimes four turned into lumberjacks for the day to cut down some trees at my parents house. My brother Gary and nephew Dave couldn't make it yesterday so they did their lumberjacking on Thursday. It was a huge success with the exception of a few birds nest with babies that had to be relocate. All in all it was a good day, good family, lots of sore muscles and a job well done!

21 Years of Missing You
It's been 21 years since you left us and although you had to go we all still miss you more than ever. You were the one who always believed in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves. You always saw the good in people and tried to forget the bad. You loved us for who we were and never tried to change us. And it's because of you we are better people and we are family....I miss you Gramma but I know in my heart you see us….. ALL OF US.

The Last Day of School
With Aaron the last day of school pretty much looks just like the first day of school. Back in my high school days the last day of school was the best day of school and I sure didn't look like this!

A day at the park
Last Friday I picked these two little rug rats up from preschool, took them to Wendy’s to eat lunch and then we headed out to the new Callahan park. The new park gets two thumbs up!!

Who would have guessed
that someday that thing you love so much would not allow you to play baseball your sophomore year? And who would have guessed that on June 15th 2010 you would have surgery on that now not so small wrist? And who would have guessed that I would need to glue that helmet to your head? And who would have guessed that I love you more than you know?...Me that's who!

Happy 39th Birthday Kim
Kim is one of my BFF's and today is her kinda 39th birthday. I'm calling this birthday her 39th because well look for yourself does she look older than 39? NO SHE DOES NOT!
Kim and I go all the way back to elementary school and out of all my closet friends she's the one I've know the longest. We were also room mates and let me tell you a little story about that. The first place we lived was a duplex on Paulsen road and we decided that we were going to have a few friends over for a little get together (otherwise known as lets all get drunk). Well our other BFF who will remain nameless (Becky) had a few two many rum and cokes and puked in our drive way. Well when Kim and I got up the next morning to medicate our hangovers we looked out the kitchen window to see the little neighbor boys poking the nameless BFF’S puke with a stick…Nice. I knew this story would come in handy some day and today is that day…
Happy Birthday Kim I love you!

Sorry Noah!
For Noah's second Halloween my friend Elana and I had the brilliant idea of dressing him up as a football player (something that later in life he never gave a crap about). We unrolled two rolls of TP and stuffed his makeshift uniform, used some black eyeliner for under his eyes (had to make sure he could see all that candy he was collecting for us!) and one of my bandanas. He had a little trouble getting used to it but he's a quick study. That was the cheapest costume EVER and being the good mom that I am I only allowed him to eat a few pieces of candy but don’t worry no candy went to waste I made sure of it.

Pick a Winner!
This lovely picture of my boys was taken way, way back in 2000 in a photo booth at the Boardwalk. Not much has changed with these two……They're still as goofy as ever.

Mr. Talent
As I have always said there’s not much my dad can't do. As long as I can remember he has always been Mr. Fix-it or Mr. Builder and he’s known for that talent throughout his family and friends.
He built this cradle for his great granddaughter Charlotte who was born in 2006.
He built the birdhouse this year to donate to the silent auction for Anzar High Schools annual Crab Feed. The winning bidder paid $150.00 for it after a long bidding war!
