AFTER
Aaron had surgery on the scaphoid bone in his right wrist yesterday (good thing he's a lefty). The Dr. had to take out all the dead bone and replace it with new bone then put a pin in it to hold it in place. The new bone came from Aaron's very bony right hip. We didn't realize until we got to the surgery center that was the new plan. We thought the Dr. was getting the new bone from Aaron's right arm. He's having a hard time walking but as I told him it'll get easier as time goes by. At least he won't be ridding that damn skateboard for awhile :-)
Wishing Aaron a speedy recovery!! :)
ReplyDeleteHope he's doing well. (and he stays off that damned skateboard!)
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Aaron having surgery. Kids seem to get right back-up and do the normal things like, being on "that damned skate board!" I do hope he did learn a lesson!?
